INTRODUCING
LA-EVA X Six Senses Douro Valley
Set on a hill with stunning views of the terraced vineyards and the Douro River, Six Senses Douro Valley is a beautifully renovated 19th-century Manor House offering guests a unique blend of contemporary comfort and historical charm. Here the air, kissed by the sun, carries the sweet scent of ripe grapes and wild herbs, forest beds and water. Soft green hues and mellow golds.
Here, we created a bespoke range of products that features a personalised body of art by Meinke Flesseman, painted in situ. The La-Eva x Six Senses Douro Valley range can be discovered in the property spa as well as in the rooms, and is part of our Portuguese Edition.

About The artist
Meinke Flesseman
From the outset, we knew that our creative journey with Six Senses Douro Valley called for artistry that would capture the essence of this special landscape and property, where the sense are revered and surprise and delight are at the epicentre of the guest experience.
“I am particularly drawn to nature and a sense of purity. Hence the greenery, farm animals, beach scenes, and the general simplicity of everyday life that I'm able to observe. Connecting the present with the past and responding to the seasons, weather, mood, and meaningful places” - Meinke
We have worked with Meinke on many projects over the years. She has become part of our tribe, imbuing each project with her essence and transforming our offerings into amber glass canvases that elevate rituals of self care through the power of art.
